As the country celebrates her seventy years on the throne, Queen Elizabeth II has become the keystone in the nation's architecture, occupying an unassailable position in the hearts of communities. Her Majesty is the first monarch to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee, seventy years of service, having acceded to the throne on 6th February 1952 when she was just twenty five years old. Now, marking this momentous milestone, four days of commemorative events begin tomorrow with the traditional military parade in London, followed by a flypast of modern and historic aircraft.
As we head into the four-day celebrations, we would like to assure our families that someone will always be here to help you, whenever you need us. Our funeral homes in Gainsborough and Saxilby will be staffed throughout the Platinum Jubilee, with members of our qualified team available by phone and email, all day and through the night.
