Memorial Service

Christmas Memorial Service

Families are invited to join us in the tranquil surroundings of the chapel at Lea Fields Crematorium for our annual Christmas memorial service. This year taking place on two consecutive days, 7pm on Friday 1st December and 2pm on Saturday 2nd December, the service will be your opportunity to reflect and remember loved ones who have recently or long-since passed. You don’t have to have held a funeral with us, nor does your loss have to be a recent one.

Prior to the event, families are welcome to send us a photo of their loved one by email, to be included in a memorial slideshow shown during the time for reflection. These photos will need to be received by no later than 8am on Wednesday 29th November. In the service there will be time to remember loved ones and for you dedicate a tribute in their memory. You’ll also be invited to write a message on one of our hand-crafted stars, before placing upon our tree. Remembered souls, loved and free, shine their light upon our tree.

Light refreshments will be served following each service, along with time to chat with our caring and dedicated team, who are always here to support you in a time of need. For those unable to attend, there will be a live webcast stream from both events, which can be viewed during the service and in the days following, details of which can be found below. You can also share your message of love or remembrance, along with a photo of your loved one via our online dedication facility. We very much look forward to welcoming family and friends, in remembering those who are no longer with us.
