Online Donations

As another year comes to end, the beginning of the next chapter, we wish to extend a huge thank you to those who have pledged through our online donation facility in 2023. The past year has seen thousands of donations, collecting £118,079 for charitable causes in that time. To date, since launching the platform back in 2021, a total of £290,400 has now been raised and donated, including any contributions taken at funeral services, online and in branch, making a huge difference to those benefacting charities.

In the past year over 300 donations have been made to St Barnabas Hospice Lincolnshire, raising over £15,000 for that charity alone. Other popular causes included the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance with £8,897 donated, Macmillan Cancer Support with £8,387 donated, Cancer Research UK with £6,570 donated, and Medecins Sans Frontieres with £6,439 donated. Contributions have been made to a wide range of charities and causes this year including local foundations, welfare groups and mental health charities, all specifically chosen by a loved one or a family member in their memory.

Provided in partnership with Much Loved, this donation facility has transformed the way in which those in our community interact with our website, allowing mourners, extended family and friends to leave their messages of condolence, light a candle, pay their respects and make a donation in their loved one's honour. It is a platform that we will continue to expand in the coming years, as we strive to further support and provide comfort to our families in their time of need, our family caring for yours. We wish you a healthy and prosperous New Year, our love to all.
